IN MEMORY: Mike Hammond

The world of British ice hockey was shaken earlier this month with the tragic news that Mike Hammond was tragically killed in a car accident.
Mike played for the Clan in season 2016-17 and was due to return for this season and also enjoyed spells with Manchester Storm, Coventry Blaze and Nottingham Panthers.
He was also an accomplished international for the Great Britain men’s national ice hockey team and scored at the World Championships.
His death has saddened fans up and down the country and Glasgow Clan have opened a book of condolence for everyone to share their memories of Mike.
The book is open to fans of all teams which wish to leave their message as a collection and celebration of Mike’s life and how he impacted on our lives.
