The Braehead Clan are inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Full Time Team Physio.
About the Braehead Clan.
The Clan are Glasgow and the West of Scotland’s only Full Time professional Ice Hockey Club and despite a relatively short existence (six years) have become the leading Ice Hockey Club in Scotland and one of the top in the U.K. Playing regularly in front of crowds of circa 3,500 the Clan boast a roster of players that comes from all over the world with many players having played in some of the world’s top leagues.
About the Role.
The Team Physio will be the responsible for attending to all the fitness needs of or playing staff, this will involve assessment, advice and treatment as well as supporting our players from the onset of injury through to end stage rehabilitation, in addition day to day services will be required to ensure all players are at the optimum levels of fitness.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Physiotherapy Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of one year’s post qualification experience.
- Ability to manage a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard
- Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for Sports Medicine.
- To provide excellent customer service and promote a professional and caring environment
- To ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory and best practice frameworks
