GAME DAY: What’s happening at Braehead Arena

October 5, 2024

Our attentions turn to Challenge Cup this Saturday as Dundee Stars make the relatively short trip from Tayside for the first Scottish derby of the season.

Both sides have played each other twice already, with one win apiece, but another meeting means another chance to pick up points in Group B.

That’s on the ice, so let’s discuss what will be happening off the ice in and around the arena in what’s going to be another busy night.

Tickets for the game remain available so get them now from the Clan websiteFace off is at 7:00pm, with doors opening at 5:30pm.

Alternatively, if you can’t be here, purchase our webcast, bringing you all the action from the game, priced at £15 by heading over to ClanIHC.tv.

Tonight’s game sponsor is our friends from Paisley Autocare.

Seeing Stars

It’s only been six days since Clan and Dundee last met so the memory of that will still be fresh for the players who take to the ice.

Clan won out 5-4 in the end so the visitors will be looking to return the compliment in Glasgow as they aim to snap a four-game losing run.

Scottish derbies are usually tasty affairs so you can expect the same from this one as both sides battle for Challenge Cup points.

Skate with the Clan

You have the chance to meet your Clan heroes on the ice following the game with the return of Skate with the Clan.  It’s £5 admission, or free if you’re a Season Ticket holder and the session lasts an hour so get your ticket here and book the session for 2200 to join in.

Box Office Open

The Braehead Arena box office is open between 3:00pm and 8:00pm, here to accommodate game day buyers for this or future fixtures.

However, in future where possible, fans are asked to continue to purchase tickets online in advance, but any sales at the box office will be at the same price as online sales.
