GAME DAY: What you can expect at Braehead Arena THIS SATURDAY

February 22, 2025

Saturday night’s alright for hockey and another entertaining night lies ahead as Coventry Blaze come to Braehead Arena looking for Elite League points.

Every point gets more and more important as the season goes on and this will be no different as each side comes into the game with contrasting moods.

For now, we’ll concentrate on what you can expect to see around the arena tonight and as busy, it’s going to be a busy one.

Tickets for the game remain available so get them now from the Clan website. Face off is at 7:00pm, with doors opening at 5:30pm.

Alternatively, if you can’t be here, purchase our webcast, bringing you all the action from the game, priced at £15 by heading over to ClanIHC.tv.

Tonight, we’re delighted to welcome our friends from Proximo 3 as our match sponsor.

A battle with the Blaze

It seems like ages since Clan and Blaze both met on the ice, but they’ll soon get reacquainted as Coventry come to the building to try and plunder points.

Blaze lost both legs of their double header with Nottingham Panthers last week, while Clan are going for a seventh straight victory after seeing off Manchester Storm during the week.

Now all eyes are on this one as the long running saga of play-off points accumulation gets more and more intense by the week.

Dropping the puck tonight

It will be very different once the puck drops as the sibling rivalry really kicks in, but before the game, Clan’s Joe Hazeldine and his brother, Archie, who plays for the Blaze will come together to drop the puck prior to the game.

Box Office

The Braehead Arena box office is open between 5:00pm and 7:30pm, here to accommodate game day buyers for this or future fixtures.

However, in future where possible, fans are asked to continue to purchase tickets online in advance, but any sales at the box office will be at the same price as online sales.

Please note, tickets for this game are going fast so try and get them as early as possible and not leave it too late.
