NEWS: Forward duo touch down for new season
Aspray Glasgow West sponsored Glasgow Clan have welcomed two more players to Scotland as head coach Malcolm Cameron assembles his team.
The latest arrivals were Colin Campbell (above) and Jamie Crooks, who both flew into Glasgow today to join the rest of the players that have travelled this week.
Campbell was delighted to have arrived in Scotland and admits he’s dying to get his gear on.
“Because of the Clan’s situation, it’s been an extended off-season for me so I’m glad to have finally travelled to Scotland,” he said.
“I’m past the point of getting excited to play again, I’d put my stuff on and get straight on the ice, if I could.
“Right now, I’ll get settled in, meet up with the guys and look forward to what will be a great season ahead.”
Crooks added: “It’s great to be in the UK again after playing with Guildford previously so I’m excited to be playing in this league once more.
“Seeing all the other players come in over the last few days, it’s getting real now and I can’t wait to meet up with everyone.
“It’s going to be a great year and I’m looking forward to being part of this team in the months ahead.”
