Glasgow’s Braehead Clan have the three best players in the EIHL, according to Hockey & Operations Director Gareth Chalmers.

Chalmers believes that Matt Beca, Scott Pitt and Alex Leavitt are on top of their game this season, with the trio one, two and three in EIHL scoring.

Beca currently leads the way with 19 goals and 22 assists in 30 games, while Pitt is second with 19 goals and 21 assists also in 30 games, with Leavitt third with 16 goals and 23 assists in 30 games.

“We’re lucky to have Matt [Beca], Scott [Pitt] and Alex [Leavitt] in our line-up, all are very talented players and I believe the three best players in the league right now” confirmed Chalmers.

“While points don’t always tell the full story, all three have been unplayable at times this season.

“The fact that they’re one, two and three in EIHL scoring is testament to what they are bringing to the organisation currently.”
