GAME DAY: What’s going on at Braehead Arena

We’re letting the kids loose for our Kids Takeover Night that sees Kevin Moore bring his Coventry Blaze side to Glasgow for the first time this season.
After recent Challenge Cup encounters, it’s back to the bread and butter of Elite League play and two points are very much up for grabs on this one.
The players will deal with all matters on the ice so we’ll concentrate our efforts on what you can expect to find around the arena.
Tickets for the game remain available so get them now from the Clan website. Face off is at 7:30pm, with doors opening at 6:00pm.
Alternatively, if you can’t be here, purchase our webcast, bringing you all the action from the game, priced at £15 by heading over to ClanIHC.tv.
Tonight’s match sponsor are our friends from KTR Systems.
Coventry Blaze the trail to Glasgow
For the first time, Kevin Moore will be behind the bench for the Blaze in Glasgow and they come into the game on the back of three straight wins, including Sunday’s home win over league champions Sheffield Steelers.
Clan have won their last three on home ice and took four points out of six from Blaze in meetings last season, so a full-blooded affair could be in prospect in this encounter.
What better way to spend a Wednesday night than at Braehead Arena for some midweek hockey as Clan and Blaze go head-to-head.
The kids are taking over
As you may have seen, we’re letting the youngsters loose in Braehead Arena tonight and let them run the show for a change.
You’ll see many of them around the foyer helping in on the merch stall, selling 50/50 tickets or other jobs round about.
Plus look out for our specially designed warm-up jerseys, designed by 10-year-old Evan Hendry and you could get your hands on one of them. More info on that later.
