GAME DAY: What’s going on at Braehead Arena

October 12, 2024

It’s a Giant Saturday at Braehead Arena, like it always is, but more so as we prepare to welcome the Belfast Giants to town for the first time this season.

It’s part one of a weekend double header, with Corey Neilson taking his side to Northern Ireland on Sunday, but it’s all about this one first.

What will be will be on the ice, but we’ll concentrate on what else you can expect around Braehead Arena on another big night ahead.

Tickets for the game remain available so get them now from the Clan websiteFace off is at 7:00pm, with doors opening at 5:30pm.

Alternatively, if you can’t be here, purchase our webcast, bringing you all the action from the game, priced at £15 by heading over to ClanIHC.tv.

Giants on the hunt for cup points

Adam Keefe’s side have had a great start to the season and come to Glasgow with a full complement of 10 points from their five cup Challenge Cup outings so far.

It goes without saying they will look to prolong that impressive run in this competition, but will face a Clan side with wins in their last three games so confidence will be high in both camps.

Both coaches know each other well too, having worked together in the GB Men’s set-up, adding another layer to the narrative of what will be an interesting night ahead.  It should be a good one.

Box Office Open

The Braehead Arena box office is open between 3:00pm and 8:00pm, here to accommodate game day buyers for this or future fixtures.

However, in future where possible, fans are asked to continue to purchase tickets online in advance, but any sales at the box office will be at the same price as online sales.
