Glasgow Clan Sign Canadian Forward Brady Risk

December 8, 2025

The Glasgow Clan are please to confirm the signing of 26-year-old Canadian forward Brady Risk ahead of Friday’s clash with the Cardiff Devils.

Risk brings an exciting blend of offensive skill, vision, and goal-scoring ability to the Glasgow Clan. The Canadian forward enjoyed an impressive NCAA career, representing the University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks and the University of Nebraska at Omaha Mavericks, before embarking on his first professional season with IF Troja-Ljungby in Sweden’s HockeyAllsvenskan.

Head Coach Corey Neilson is looking forward to seeing what Risk can bring to the Clan:

“Brady had an excellent NCAA career and I really enjoyed watching his video. He’s got a ton of offensive ability, vision, and most importantly has shown that he can find the back of the net. He plays the right way and is young and hungry, which I think is great for our group. Playing in Sweden also means he’s a really solid skater. His team there was on the weaker side, so he spent most of his first pro season playing in his defensive zone, but I feel, if put in the right position, there is a ton of potential in his game for offensive upside.”

Risk is equally enthusiastic about joining the Clan:

“I’m really excited to join Glasgow and be part of a club with passionate fans, a clear vision, and high expectations. From my first conversation with Corey, it felt like the right fit. I’m ready for a fresh start and will do everything I can to help the team win.”

Brady Risk will wear #9 and is expected to make his Clan debut this Friday against the Cardiff Devils.
