NEWS: Kallen to return home for surgery

Aspray Glasgow West sponsored Glasgow Clan can confirm that defenceman Nate Kallen has returned home early to undergo surgery.

The defenceman has been out of action since last month when he picked up an upper body injury that has left him on the sidelines.

With the injury now requiring further medical treatment, the decision has been taken to allow Nate to return to the United States where he can get the surgery required.

Head coach Jason Morgan thanked Nate for his contribution to the team this season and wished him well in his recovery.

“Losing Kalls was the latest in a long line of injuries we’ve suffered during the campaign and knowing that he wouldn’t feature again, we’ve made the decision to allow him to return home,” he said.

“I want to take the opportunity thank Nate for his hard work and effort for the team and he’s a player I’ve enjoyed working with this season.

“He’s been a great addition to the team and on behalf of everyone, I wish him all the best for his surgery and recovery going forward.”
