Glasgow’s Braehead Clan head coach Ryan Finnerty has received a boost today with American defenceman Harry Quast returning to the ice following injury.
Quast, joined his team-mates on the ice at Braehead Arena as they prepare for Saturday’s visit of Gardiner Conference rivals the Edinburgh Capitals (7:00pm face-off).
However, the Clan have received a blow with confirmation that forward Jay Rosehill will be sidelined for at least four weeks with a broken foot.
This is in addition to the news that GB International forward Craig Peacock will be out of action for a number of weeks with an upper body injury.
“We were happy that Harry [Quast] was able to make it back onto the ice today, we are taking it day to day with him right now” said Finnerty.
“Obviously losing Jay [Rosehill] is a big blow for us, but with a broken foot he’s going to need time and will return to the ice when it’s fully healed.”
The Clan are really up against it at the moment! Like last weekend, the Purple Army can make the difference! JOIN THE FIGHT!
