Braehead Clan head coach Ryan Finnerty has confirmed that British netminder Gary Russell will start this Sunday’s game v the Coventry Blaze at Braehead Arena.
Despite winning Saturday’s game 7-5 against the Edinburgh Capitals, Finnerty was not happy with the manner or the amount of goals his team conceded.
“It wasn’t a great game from a coaching standpoint, conceding so many goals. Our offensive side of the puck we looked pretty dangerous.
“We are evaluating where things are going wrong defensively, so Gary [Russell] will be icing v Coventry and we’ll be shaking things up.”
Help Gary and the Clan to a victory against the Coventry Blaze THIS SUNDAY (6:00pm face-off). Tickets are available NOW via TICKETMASTER, by calling 0844 499 1700 or direct at the Braehead Arena box office.
