Your Glasgow Clan Gear Up for a Huge October Week
It’s a massive week of hockey ahead at Braehead Arena as Your Glasgow Clan face three huge tests in five nights — starting with Manchester Storm on Friday 10th October, followed by Belfast Giants in the Challenge Cup on Saturday 11th October, before hosting the Sheffield Steelers on Wednesday 15th October.
With league points and Challenge Cup standings on the line, it’s set to be an intense few days for the Purple Army.
Friday 10th October – Manchester Storm (EIHL League)
The Storm return to Braehead Arena after the Clan claimed a 3-2 victory in the season’s opening clash on 17th September.
Captain #95 Deven Sideroff, #68 Brett Neumann, and #71 Rylan Schwartz all found the scoresheet in that one, and they’ll be looking to repeat the performance as the Clan aim to continue their strong start to league competition.
Saturday 11th October – Belfast Giants (Challenge Cup)
The Belfast Giants are back for their third meeting with the Clan in the Challenge Cup. After a tough double-header in late September that saw the Giants edge both games, this one feels personal.
The Clan will be fired up to bounce back and secure two vital Cup points to stay in contention for qualification. Expect physical play, fast hockey, and a Braehead crowd ready to make some noise.
Wednesday 15th October – Sheffield Steelers (EIHL League)
It’s round two against the Steelers — and this time, it’s on home ice.
The Clan earned a hard-fought win in Sheffield last weekend, silencing the home crowd at the Utilita Arena. The Steelers will be eager to turn the tables, but with the Purple Army behind them, the Clan will be confident of going back-to-back.
Be there for every hit, goal, and celebration.
