Weekly Recap: Pivotal Weekend Coming Up

February 9, 2026

The Glasgow Clan split their points across two fixtures last week, showing resilience at home before delivering a strong performance on the road.

Nottingham Panthers (H) | 3–4 SO LOSS

Back at Braehead Arena, the Clan pushed the Nottingham Panthers all the way in a tightly contested encounter that was decided in a shootout.

The Purple Army were given an early lift when Felix Paré opened the scoring just two minutes into the first period. The Clan extended their lead in the second through goals from Brett Neumann and Tristin Langan, but the Panthers fought back to level the game and force overtime.

With no separating the sides after extra time, the contest went to a shootout where Mitch Fossier scored the decisive goal, handing the Panthers the extra point despite a spirited Clan performance.

Dundee Stars (A) | 5–2 WIN

The Clan responded in emphatic fashion on Saturday night at the Dundee Ice Arena. Tristin Langan struck first just three minutes in, with Roy doubling the lead moments later.

Further goals from Rylan Schwartz, Brett Neumann and Brady Risk ensured the Clan remained in control, while Dundee replied through Luce and Nieminen. The Clan closed out the game to secure a deserved 5–2 victory and two valuable league points.
