THE WEEK AHEAD: Step back in time
We’re back at the beginning of another week as the games tick down and – we know we say it every week – two more challenges lie ahead for Glasgow Clan, sponsored by Aspray Glasgow West.
Seven games in the regular season remain and as we all know by now, there’s never an easy night so we’ll touch on those once we’ve recapped on what you may have missed:

FRIDAY
Glasgow Clan vs Dundee Stars (Elite Ice Hockey League, face off 7:30pm)
We’re going back in time with our retro night as we enjoy what makes this club so great in the first of two consecutive Friday meetings with Dundee Stars.
Previous meetings with the Stars have gone either way so far this season, so it’s hard to know or get an idea of how this one may fare.
But on the back of two losses and play-off places up for grabs, it’s going to be a big night for either club, and could play a part in how things are ultimately decided.

SATURDAY
Guildford Flames vs Glasgow Clan (Elite Ice Hockey League, face off 6:00pm)
Once Friday is out the way, it’s another long trip south as the Clan will head for Surrey for the first of two more trips to take on Guildford in the Elite League.
The Flames head into the new week with a dreadful run of two victories from their last 14, something they’ll look to improve when they play Dundee on Wednesday.
However, Glasgow’s record at the Spectrum isn’t the best either but it would be the ideal time to get points in a venue that hasn’t been kind to the Clan in recent years.
