THE NUMBERS GAME: Clan vs Belfast Giants – Friday
Glasgow Clan, sponsored by Aspray Glasgow West, will finally hear the roar of the Purple Army on Friday night when Belfast Giants come to town to kick off another weekend double header.
These fixtures can have little quirks about them so let’s see what we’ve uncovered ahead of the first home game of the new season.
The last goal scored at Braehead Arena last season was by Clan #21 Jeff Solow in the play-off quarter final second leg, with the winning goal on the night in a 4-3 win, although Clan went down 7-6 on aggregate in the end. It was Solow’s only goal for the club.
