The Glasgow Clan are based in Glasgow, a major city on the west coast of Scotland. We compete in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL), the UK’s premier ice hockey league, which consists of eleven teams representing all four Home Nations.
The ten other clubs are the Belfast Giants, Cardiff Devils, Coventry Blaze, Dundee Stars, Fife Flyers, Guildford Flames, Manchester Storm, Milton Keynes Lightning, Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers.
From their inception in 2010, the Glasgow Clan have played in Braehead Arena, a 3500 seat arena conveniently located in Braehead shopping centre. We have enjoyed playing to weekly near-capacity or sell-out crowds. In addition to our match night success, we run a successful community programme.
Playing with the Glasgow Clan offers a variety of benefits including well-appointed accommodation in close proximity to the arena’s riverside location and access to our fleet of team branded vehicles and fitness club membership offering premium gym, tennis, swimming, health and fitness facilities.
The Glasgow Clan operate in an area which itself boasts a large entertainment complex, and local golf course, but is within easy access to Glasgow city centre and all of its major attractions, with many of the idyllic tourist attractions Scotland offers a short journey away.
The Glasgow Clan are continually looking for players who have extensive NHL, AHL, ECHL, NCAA Division I, CIS, KHL, SEL, Allsvenskan, Liiga, Mestis, DEL, DEL2, EBEL, AlpsHL, Metal Ligaen, GET Ligaen, Ligue Magnus or previous EIHL experience.
