SIGNING: Darien Kielb Returns to the Glasgow Clan
The Glasgow Clan are pleased to announce the return of Canadian defenceman Darien Kielb for the 2025/26 season.
The 6’3” blueliner spent the 2024/25 campaign in Glasgow, contributing 15 points in 60 games, and now makes his return to reinforce the Clan’s defensive unit following a recent run of injuries and sickness within the team.
Head Coach Corey Neilson is pleased to welcome Kielb back into the fold:
Darien is a big, skilled guy with fantastic mobility. He knows the league, our systems and tactics, which means he can jump right in seamlessly and do what we do. He’s also a high-quality person who is well liked by his teammates and knows our expectations for him.
Kielb himself is looking forward to pulling on the Clan jersey once again:
I’m excited to be returning to the Clan and looking forward to building off last season as we work toward bringing success to Glasgow in front of the Purple Army.
Darien will wear #4 this season and is expected to be in the lineup for our home double-header against the Manchester Storm on Friday 10 & Belfast Giants on Saturday 11 October 2025 at Braehead Arena.
