Sideroff and Seigo Set for Century Night as Clan Leaders Confirmed for 2026/27

January 16, 2026

Friday night in Altrincham will mark a special milestone for two of the Glasgow Clan’s most influential figures, as Captain Deven Sideroff and Alternate Captain Steven Seigo skate in their 100th EIHL game in purple.

The landmark appearance comes with added significance, as the Clan can confirm that both Sideroff and Seigo will remain with the club for the 2026/27 season, having signed two-year contracts in April 2025. The duo will hit the century mark on Friday 16th January 2026 when Glasgow face the Manchester Storm at Planet Ice Altrincham.

Since arriving in Glasgow, both players have become central pillars of the team on and off the ice.

Forward and captain Deven Sideroff has been a driving force through the middle of the lineup, leading by example with his relentless work rate, competitiveness, and offensive production. Across his first 99 EIHL games in purple, Sideroff has recorded 49 goals and 44 assists for 93 points, underlining his importance as both a leader and a difference-maker in key moments.

Alongside him, defenceman Steven Seigo has provided stability, experience, and consistency from the blue line. Wearing the ‘A’, Seigo has played a vital role in all situations, contributing 13 goals and 48 assists for 61 points, while maintaining a –2 +/- rating over 99 games. His composure and leadership have been invaluable within the dressing room and on the ice.

Speaking ahead of the milestone, both players expressed their excitement at reaching 100 games for the club and their pride in continuing their journey with the Clan beyond this season.

Coming back to play in Glasgow was already on my mind early in my first season with the Clan. The fans are incredibly passionate in their support, but also in their desire to be part of a hard-working, competitive team. I believe in the culture and identity that not only the fans, but Corey, Mike and the whole organization are cultivating.

When I was presented with the opportunity to commit for a further two seasons, it was an easy decision. I’m excited about what we can bring in the second half of this season and the future too.

– Steven Siego

It’s an honor to wear purple for 100 games, I really enjoy being here and coming to the rink with this group. We’re pushing each other every day and trying to keep getting better.

– Deven Sideroff

Reaching the century mark in Clan colours is a testament to their commitment, durability, and impact, and Friday night provides the perfect stage to celebrate two leaders who continue to shape the identity of the Glasgow Clan.
