Glasgow’s Braehead Clan head coach John Tripp has today taken the decision to make some leadership changes to his team.

Finnish forward Ville Hämäläinen who recently joined the Clan from DEL2 club Dresdner Eislöwen, has been appointed as the club’s new captain.

The move will allow Brendan Brooks to now concentrate on his player assistant coaching role.

Furthermore, Craig Peacock will be joined by Brooks and Ryan Potulny as associate captains.

“I decided we needed to make some changes in terms of leadership. With players coming in later and adding experience this will benefit the whole team” confirmed Tripp.
