Glasgow Clan forward Scott Tanski has announced his retirement from playing professional hockey, the 30-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to make the announcement.

The Alberta, Canada native joined the Clan two years ago from the ECHL’s Reading Royals and went on to become a firm favourite of the Purple Army.

During his nine season professional career, Tanski played for the American Hockey League’s Connecticut Whale, and the Orlando Solar Bears, South Carolina Stingrays and Reading Royals of the ECHL.

The Clan would like to thank Scott for his efforts during his time with the club and wish him and Mimi all the best in their future endeavours.
