OSC: Young Purple Army pick their winners

The younger members of the Clan’s OSC came out in force this week as they celebrated the Kids Choice Awards.

With the Clan’s own GCAs coming soon, the younger members of the club’s Official Supporters Club got together to give the players their own awards in a ceremony in the Braehead Arena foyer.

As well the members of the team, Clangus was there to take part in the event and one that was a hugely successful one for all involved.

Clan OSC chair Roddie Brown looked back on another great occasion as the kids turned out in numbers to see their favourites.

“The attendance was absolutely incredible and this sort of event allows the kids to see their favourite players and celebrate them,” he said.

“It’s a popular one on the OSC calendar and we were delighted to see so many faces get involved and enjoy what was an excellent night for our young fans.

“I want to thank the OSC committee who have gone above and beyond again to organise everything as well the Glasgow Clan players and the young fans who came along and voted too.

“I also want to say thank you to Braehead Arena, including Ross Noble for the catering and I can’t forget the best mascot in the league, Clangus.”

Favourite Import Forward – Gary Haden

Best Beard/Facial hair – Drew McLean

Favourite British Player – Craig Peacock

Cutest Clan Dog – Sheba Dunbar

Favourite Import Defence/Goaltender – John Muse

Favourite Player of the Season – Gary Haden
