OSC: Quiz Night Success
The Glasgow Clan’s Official Supporters Club (OSC) kicked off the 2024/25 season in style with their first event of the year – a quiz night held on the 24th of September at Braehead Arena. Fans and players came together for a fun-filled evening, with the Clan’s Goaltender, Landon Bow, leading his team to victory in a closely contested quiz.
The event featured five rounds of general trivia, hockey knowledge, and music and movie culture, giving everyone plenty of chances to show off their skills. The mix of questions kept the energy high, with friendly banter and competition flowing between the tables. Fans were excited to not only test their knowledge but also to share laughs and chat with their favourite Clan players in a relaxed setting.
In addition to the quiz, fans had the opportunity to enter a raffle, where two fantastic prizes were up for grabs – a limited edition 2023/24 Valentine’s jersey and a “Rock the Rink” jersey, both coveted items among supporters.
The OSC expressed their thanks to all who participated, saying, “Thanks to everyone who joined us last night for our first event of the season. It was a great way to spend a Tuesday night with lots of laughs and chat. Huge thanks to Ross and his team for setting up for us and to all the Glasgow Clan players for giving up their free time to join us. We hope everyone had a great night.”
With the first event of the season hailed as a success, the OSC and fans are eagerly looking forward to more exciting gatherings as the season progresses. A special thank you to everyone who helped make the night memorable, and a big congratulations to Landon Bow and his team for their victory.
