NEWS: Yu Sato unable to join the Clan

The Glasgow Clan would like to advise the Purple Army that new Japanese forward #8 Yu Sato will now be unable to join our roster for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

After starting the visa process, it was evident that at this time through no fault of the player or the club, that obtaining a work visa for Sato to play in the UK wasn’t going to be possible.

Everyone at the Clan would like to wish Yu all the very best for the forthcoming season. The door has been left open for Yu to join the Clan in future seasons, and we’ll continue to monitor his progression with his new team in mainland Europe.
