NEWS: Strikes galore as Clan and OSC go bowling
It was a night of fun as players from Glasgow Clan, sponsored by Aspray Glasgow West, and members of the Official Supporters Club to throw some balls around.
It was bowling night as the players and fans got together at Tenpin at XSite to test each other’s skills in an entirely different realm with enjoyable results.
Like last year, the event was a sell out and with some showing themselves to be secret Kingpins on the lanes, it was an occasion that proved to be another great success for the OSC.
Chairman Roddie Brown reflected on a good night and was left impressed again by the turnout.
“The members of the OSC never fail to amaze me and once again, the events team helped to deliver another great night,” he said.
“The bowling night is one of the more popular events in our calendar and it’s always great to see members and players interacting in a social setting.
“Once again, I have to thank our events team for another great job, as well as interim head coach Stephen Dixon, the Clan players and the OSC members for making the night what it was.
“I also want to thank Tenpin for their hospitality and support throughout the evening and look forward to seeing it come around next year again.”
