NEWS: Reddick ready for anything in Cardiff cup date
Aspray Glasgow West sponsored Glasgow Clan defenceman Bryce Reddick says anything is possible as the team chase Challenge Cup progression.
The Clan #89 is preparing to face his old team, Cardiff Devils, for a place in the Challenge Cup semi finals at the Vindico Arena on Wednesday.
He was part of the Devils’ team that lost to Glasgow in the quarter finals five years ago, but knows anything can happen with only a goal separating the two sides from last week’s 4-3 first leg defeat.
“Five years ago, I was in this exact situation with Cardiff,” he recalled. “We were up a goal coming back and we ended up losing to Glasgow so hopefully I can be on the right side of it this time around.
“I also was on a team who was going into the second leg needing to win by three goals to move on and we did.
“Anything is possible in these games, and it will be exciting for sure. As a group we are very motivated for the opportunity and challenge.
“In a league where all the top teams have cores who have been together for years, we only have a couple of guys who have played together.
“So over the past three weeks, we have really come into our own as a team. The confidence that we were a good squad was always there, it was just a matter of getting comfortable and used to playing together as a group and it’s paying off now.”
