NEWS: Harrison back in a happy place

Aspray Glasgow West sponsored Glasgow Clan forward Ryan Harrison admits being out of action was frustrating – but he’s delighted to be back.

Clan’s #22 ended an injury-enforced five-week absence when he iced against Coventry Blaze at Braehead Arena on Saturday.

And while he saw the positive side of picking up points, he’s not too downhearted about the progress of the team.

“Missing out is never fun,” he said. “But it’s been awesome to get back out with the guys and compete again.

“We were able to get a couple of points over the weekend, but losing in overtime does sting.  It’s never a good feeling to see the game slip away like that.

“But I think we’re on the right path and we’re looking to make it up, starting this weekend in Cardiff then back home against Dundee.

“We’ll keep on battling and keep facing the challenges we have dead on.”
