NEWS: Finnerty calls on fans to make DIA “like a home game”
SEASON 2017/18: It’s only five months until the start of the new season, don’t miss out on a single EIHL home game at Braehead Arena. Apply for your 2017/18 SEASON TICKET TODAY!
Glasgow’s Braehead Clan head coach Ryan Finnerty has called on the Purple Army to make Dundee Ice Arena ‘like a home game’ this Saturday.
The Clan travel to Tayside to face the Dundee Stars in the EIHL Playoff Quarter Final 1st Leg (7:00pm face-off), with over 500 Clan fans expected to travel.
“It’s a cliché, but the Purple Army can have a major part to play tonight” said Finnerty. “The guys feed off the energy coming from the fans and it’s certainly a major advantage for our organisation.
“We’re going into a difficult building against a good Dundee team, however if the Purple Army can make the atmosphere like a home game at Braehead Arena it will go a long way to helping us get our first foot in the playoff final weekend.
“Everyone associated with the club is desperate to make the playoff final weekend, especially after the disappointment of the past two season’s. Let’s do this together!”
Tickets are still available for THIS SATURDAY’s game at the Dundee Ice Arena. They can be purchased online HERE or by calling 01382 431 900.
