NEWS: Craighead set for short period in Canada for personal reasons
Aspray Glasgow West sponsored Glasgow Clan forward Darien Craighead will leave the team for a short period of time for a family emergency.
The #77, who joined the club in the summer, will leave immediately and will miss Sunday’s road game with Sheffield Steelers.
The Canadian is set to be back home for a week, but will return to the Clan line-up for our weekend vs Belfast (away) and Manchester (home).
Clan head coach Jason Morgan conveyed his best wishes to Craighead and family.
“Darien having to leave the team at this time is unfortunate, but there are more important things in life, of course, and we wish him and his family well at this moment,” he said.
“We spoke just before the weekend and he told me about what was happening so it became apparent that he needed to return home.
“As an organisation it was imperative we supported Darien at this time, so we booked him flights so he could return home straight away.”
