NEWS: Clan to cap 2024/25 Season Tickets at 2,000 sales
The Glasgow Clan would like to advise the Purple Army that we have taken the decision to cap 2024/25 season ticket sales at 2,000, following a record-breaking surge in demand.
The move comes after 1,700 season tickets were snapped up in just 3 weeks, demonstrating the incredible support and enthusiasm of the Purple Army.Â
Last season, the Clan enjoyed record capacity crowds and the best ever average attendances, a testament to the continuing popularity of ice hockey in Glasgow.
The cap on season ticket sales is a strategic decision to ensure that fans who prefer to attend games on a single-game basis, as well as away fans and new supporters, have the opportunity to experience a Clan home game at Braehead Arena.Â
Clan, Managing Director, Gareth Chalmers explained the rationale behind this decision: “While we are thrilled with the unprecedented demand for season tickets, we also recognize the importance of making our games accessible to a broader audience.
“I appreciate not everyone can afford a season ticket, nor make all the home games, so we need to ensure we have a fair balance.
“By capping season ticket sales at 2,000, or 55% of capacity, we are ensuring that everyone, from die-hard fans to newcomers, has the chance to enjoy the game-night experience that a Clan game offers.”Â
For those looking to secure single-game tickets, keep an eye on the Clan’s official website and social media channels for fixtures announcements and availability. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the action and cheer on the Clan as they take to the ice for the 2024/25 season.
We will keep the Purple Army up to date if and when we near the 2,000 sales cap.
