NEWS: A Message From Michael O’Rourke

Hi Purple Army,

I hope everyone has had a great summer with family and friends – and that you’re all excited for the new hockey season!

It has been a very busy period off the ice for the club in many regards.

The big screens have already made their debut for our home opener, and we’re excited to continue seeing them in action as they enhance the home arena experience.

The ice plant work has been longer than hoped, and at times difficult, but it was worth the efforts as this ensures the future of the Arena and the Clan. I appreciate everyone’s patience with this process.

I am excited by the passion of the Purple Army, and whether you are live with us in Braehead Arena, watching a webcast, or supporting the team on the road – your loyalty to the club is very much appreciated.

I’d also like to give a warm welcome to all the Clan players, our Coaching staff, off ice staff, and of course their families. I look forward to seeing the team play and cheering loudly, and am enthusiastic for what lies ahead this season.
