NEWS: 2024/25 Club Events & Game Day Theme Nights
The Glasgow Clan are pleased to confirm our line-up of club events and theme nights for the 2024/25 season. As we prepare for another season of hockey, we invite all our fans to join us for these special occasions at the Braehead Arena. Here’s what we have planned:
Wednesday, 4th September 2024: Jersey Launch & Player Introduction Night at 7:30pm
Start the season with our Jersey Launch & Player Introduction Night. Get a first look at the new jerseys and meet the players who will be representing the Clan during 2024/25. This event will take place in Braehead Arena, in the main arena.
Wednesday, 18th Sep 2024: Own & Loan Handover Event at 7:30pm
Join us for the Own & Loan Handover Event, where fans who have purchased an Own & Loan get the unique opportunity to present their jersey to the players. This special evening offers a chance for fans to connect with the players and kick start their support for the season.
Saturday, 28th September 2024: Oktoberfest Theme Night at 7:00pm
Join us for Oktoberfest Theme Night, featuring traditional German music, food, and – ofcourse – a hockey game. Wear your lederhosen or dirndls and enjoy a night of Bavarian fun.
There will be no special jersey for this game.
Wednesday, 2nd October 2024: 1st Bring a Buddy Night at 7:30pm
Our first Bring a Buddy Night vs Nottingham Panthers (7:30pm face-off) is a great chance to introduce someone new to Glasgow Clan hockey. Share the experience and enjoy the game together.
Saturday, 5th October 2024: Skate With The Clan at 7:00pm
Our first post-game Skate with the Clan will be held after the Challenge Cup fixture against the Dundee Stars (7pm face-off) on Saturday 5th October 2024.
Tuesday, 15th October 2024: Open Training Session at 10:00am
Attend an Open Training Session to see the team prepare for their next game. This is a unique opportunity to watch the coaching team & players in action during practice.
Wednesday, 16th October 2024: Kids Takeover at 7:30pm
Bring the family for a fun-filled evening at our Kids Takeover night vs Coventry Blaze (7:30pm face-off). Young fans will have the chance to take on various roles around the arena, from helping with announcements to participating in activities on the ice. It’s a special night designed to give kids an unforgettable experience and a closer look at what goes into making a Clan game happen.
A special edition warm-up jersey will be available to win through a full team Shirt Off the Back raffle draw. There will be no post-game auction.
Saturday, 26th October 2024: Halloween Theme Night at 7:00pm
Come dressed in your best costumes for our Halloween Theme Night vs Fife Flyers (7:00pm face-off). Enjoy an evening of Halloween-themed entertainment along with the hockey game.
A special edition warm-up jersey will be available to win through a full team Shirt Off the Back raffle draw. Game worn jerseys will be sold in a post-game auction.
Friday, 29th & Saturday, 30th November 2024: Glasvegas Theme Weekend
Celebrate Glasgow with our Glasvegas Theme Night. Over two nights vs Belfast Giants (7:30pm face-off) & vs Fife Flyers (7:00pm face-off), we’ll highlight the city’s culture with special performances and activities.
A special edition warm-up jersey will be available to win through a full team Shirt Off the Back raffle draw. Game worn jerseys will be sold in a post-game auction on Saturday 30th November.
Friday, 6th December 2024: Foodbank Appeal at 7:30pm
Support our Foodbank Appeal by bringing non-perishable food items to the game vs Manchester Storm (7:30pm face-off). Help us assist those in need within our community.
Saturday, 7th December 2024: Toybank Appeal & Christmas Skate with the Clan at 7:00pm
Participate in our Toybank Appeal by donating toys for children in need prior to our game vs Dundee Stars (7:00pm face-off). Afterwards, enjoy a Christmas Skate with the Clan players.
Sunday, 15th December 2024: Post Game Full Team Signing Session at 5:00pm
Meet the entire team at our Post Game Full Team Signing Session following our game vs Guildford Flames (5:00pm face-off). Get autographs and take photos with the players after the game.
Saturday, 21st December 2024: Christmas Theme Night at 7:00pm
Join us for a festive evening at our Christmas Theme Night vs Dundee Stars (7:00pm face-off). Enjoy holiday decorations, music, and a cheerful atmosphere.
A special edition warm-up jersey will be available to win through a full team Shirt Off the Back raffle draw. Game worn jerseys will be sold in a post-game auction.
Friday, 24th January 2025: EIHL Pride Theme Night at 7:30pm
Show support for diversity and inclusion at our EIHL Pride Theme Night vs Fife Flyers (7:30pm face-off). Celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with special activities and performances.
A special edition warm-up jersey will be available to win through a full team Shirt Off the Back raffle draw. Game worn jerseys will be sold in a post-game auction.
Sunday, 2nd February 2025: Post Game Skate with the Clan at 5:00pm
Skate with the Clan players after the game v Manchester Storm (5:00pm face-off) at our Post Game Skate with the Clan event. This is a great chance to meet the players on the ice.
Friday, 14th February 2025: Valentines Theme Night at 7:30pm
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with our Valentines Theme Night vs Guildford Flames (7:30pm face-off). Bring your significant other for a special evening of hockey and surprises.
A special edition warm-up jersey will be available to win through a full team Shirt Off the Back raffle draw. Game worn jerseys will be sold in a post-game auction.
Wednesday, 19th February 2025: 2nd Bring a Buddy Night at 7:30pm
Our 2nd Bring a Buddy Night vs Manchester Storm (7:30pm face-off) is another opportunity to introduce someone new to Glasgow Clan hockey. Share the excitement of the game with a friend.
Saturday, 15th March 2025: Round-up the Rink / Country & Western Theme Night at 7:00pm
Enjoy a night of country music and hockey at our Round-up the Rink / Country & Western Theme Night vs Coventry Blaze (7:00pm face-off). Wear your cowboy boots and hats for a themed evening.
A special edition warm-up jersey will be available to win through a full team Shirt Off the Back raffle draw. Game worn jerseys will be sold in a post-game auction.
Sunday, 16th March 2025: Post Game Skate with the Clan at 5:00pm
Join us again for a Post Game Skate with the Clan following our game vs Belfast Giants (5:00pm face-off). Skate with the players and enjoy another session on the ice.
Friday, 21st March 2025: EIHL Retro Night at 7:30pm
Celebrate the history of hockey at our EIHL Retro Night vs Sheffield Steelers (7:30pm face-off). Enjoy throwback jerseys, classic tunes, and a nostalgic atmosphere.
A special edition jersey will be available to win through a full team Shirt Off the Back raffle draw. There will be no post-game auction.
Mon, 7th Apr 2025: Glasgow Clan Awards Night at 7:30pm
Celebrate the season’s achievements at the Glasgow Clan Awards Night. This event will honor the outstanding performances and contributions of our players, staff, and fans. Enjoy an evening of recognition, entertainment, and reflection on the highlights of the season.
Wed, 9th Apr 2025: Own & Loan Handback Event at 7:30pm
Conclude the season with the Own & Loan Handback Event. Fans who participated in the Own & Loan program will have their jerseys returned to them by the players, allowing them to keep a treasured memento from the season.
We can confirm there will be replica themed jerseys available for selected theme nights and more information regarding these will be released in due course.
