KIDS TAKEOVER: Get your applications in…
We’re just a week away from our Kids Takeover Night, and at Glasgow Clan, we’re giving the youngsters control!
On Wednesday, 16th October 2024, for our home game against Coventry Blaze, we’re looking for some young helpers to join us for the night and lend a hand to our game night crew.
As you know, many roles and functions are performed around Braehead Arena by a fantastic team that makes the game night experience possible. Now, we’re inviting some of the younger members of the Purple Army to step into these roles for the night!
Here are the jobs we’re looking to fill:
- Pre-game Clan coach
- 50/50 & SOTB seller assistants
- Merchandise stall assistant
- DJ’s assistant
- Security assistants
- Hospitality assistants
- Chuck a Puck assistants
For these roles, we’re looking for young fans aged 6 to 12 who are excited to see what it’s like to be part of the game night crew!
And that’s not all…
We’re also on the hunt for an Announcer’s Apprentice, where you’ll have the chance to stand alongside our very own Kevin McCoskrie on the ice. It’s a fantastic opportunity to speak the famous words that kick off game night in your own style!
To give you a better idea of what this involves, here’s Kevin with more details:
So, if you’ve ever imagined yourself as the next big game night announcer, this is your moment to shine.
If you want to be our Announcer’s Apprentice on Kids Takeover Night, we need you to send us an audition video (filmed in landscape orientation). Look into the camera and give us your best version of Kevin’s well-known shouts, including the crowd favorite, “Good Evening, hockey fans!”
Even if you’re not selected as the winner, your video may be featured on Clan’s social media in the coming days!
For this role, we’re looking for fans aged 8 to 14 who are ready to bring their energy and enthusiasm to the ice.
To apply and give your consent, simply fill out the application form (available in Word format) and send it to [email protected] by this Friday, 11th October, at 6pm.
And don’t forget to include your audition video if you’re applying for the Announcer’s Apprentice role!
Good luck, and we can’t wait to see you on game night!
Tickets for this game are just £10 for adults and £5 for kids—don’t miss out!
