May 14, 2026

The Glasgow Clan is delighted to confirm that forward Rylan Schwartz will return to the club for the 2026/27 Elite League season, marking his third consecutive year in purple.

Since arriving in Glasgow ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, Schwartz has established himself as one of the most important and consistent figures within the Clan dressing room, becoming a key part of the club’s leadership group both on and off the ice.

The experienced 36-year-old forward has played 133 games for the Clan across the past two seasons, recording an impressive 34 goals and 62 assists for a total of 96 points.

Widely respected for his professionalism, hockey IQ, and all-round game, Schwartz has consistently delivered in key moments while helping drive standards within the organisation.

His ability to contribute offensively, alongside his work ethic and experience, has made him an integral part of the Clan core during his time in Glasgow.

Head Coach Mike Sirant said:

I’m really pleased that Rylan has re-signed for a third season with the Clan. He is a true professional and one of the best-conditioned athletes on our roster.

Rylan is an excellent two-way player who has consistently shown he can slot into any line-up and help drive play. He competes hard every night, is willing to finish checks, and battles in the tough areas along the boards and around the net.

On top of that, he continues to produce offensively and has been among the Clan’s leading scorers over the past two seasons.
