It comes down to this. Our final home game of the season and a final chance to end the season in Nottingham among the last four standing, but that big Welsh barrier remains in Clan’s way.
After Saturday’s 4-3 win in Ice Arena Wales, it’s all to play for and as the buzz around this game continues, it’s going to be one hell of a final push.
Clan’s win may have raised a few eyebrows, but if anyone thinks it’s foregone conclusion at this point, then they should seriously think again.
Devils have won two out of three in Glasgow and have shown throughout the season they have the players that can make a difference.
Losing the home leg will be disappointing, but it’s only half time, as the cliche goes and we could see quite the game as a trip to Nottingham next week awaits the winners.

PLAYER TO WATCH
#43 Matt Register
The Devils defenceman has brought a lot of experience and as he’s shown against Glasgow Clan this season, he tends to be handy around the goal as well.
Register has three goals and six assists against Malcolm Cameron’s men, but when you consider they’ve come in the last five meetings between the teams – including a goal and an assist in Saturday’s play-off first leg, it’s an impressive record.
The 32-year-old was brought in by Jarrod Skalde last summer and integrated himself well in the Cardiff line-up, with good vision in the play and solid defensive displays.
His scoring record is an added bonus and maybe something Devils can lean on as they look to negotiate a way past the Clan.
