GAME DAY: What’s on at Braehead Arena THIS THURSDAY

Sheffield Steelers are in town to take on Glasgow Clan, sponsored by Aspray Glasgow West, where two early Premier Sports Elite League points are up for grabs.

Despite a resilient performance at Guildford on Sunday, Clan remain without a win in their previous two games while Sheffield are fresh from a 7-1 win over Dundee Stars so it’s all to play for.

But what about off the ice?  We’ve got your covered, as you’ll see with what’s happening around Braehead Arena.

In the meantime, tickets remain available at so make sure you get yours.  Face off at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 6pm.

You should be reminded that season tickets are valid for this game so no need to purchase tickets if you’ve got your ST sorted.

Steelers are back in Scotland

Just days after taking seven goals from the Stars on Sunday, Aaron Fox’s men are back north of the border looking to do the same to the Clan and give them a good foundation to their league campaign.

Clan won two of their three home games against Sheffield last season and with that first win still pending, Malcolm Cameron, the Purple Army and everyone connected will have everything crossed tonight is the night.

Box Office Open

The Braehead Arena is open between 3pm and 7.30pm and for now, is open on a trial basis and it will be there to accommodate game day buyers due to the cost of living crisis.

However, where possible, fans are asked to continue to purchase tickets online in advance, but any sales at the box office will be at the same price as online sales.

Shirt off the Back

Tonight’s Shirt off the Back is the white pre-season #71 jersey belonging to Clan’s Craig Peacock and it could be YOURS!

Tickets are available from our sellers in the Arena foyer at only £1 each, remember the more you buy the more likely you are to win!

No Clangus, no party and of course, your favourite coo is back! Clangus likes to moooove it and you’ll see him making his way around the arena, dancing to his favourite tunes and seeing as many people as he can.

Vote for Man of the Match

You can vote for your Clan man of the match using the Clan App. Just tap on the VOTING tab on the main menu bar during the 3rd period and use the drop-down menu to select your Clan player.

Food and Beverages

Hot food and beverages are available in Braehead Clan, including hot dogs nachos and a choice of alcoholic and soft drinks.

Our Hockey Hot Box delights sees a choice of Chilli and rice or Cajun Pasta, each for sale priced at £6.

We have a number of accessible seats within the arena and also two disabled toilets in the foyer. We also have access to another disabled toilet within the shopping centre which has a hoist – please let security know if you need assistance locating these toilets.
