GAME DAY: What’s happening THIS SATURDAY at Braehead Arena

October 26, 2024

It’s rivalry night and there’s nothing quite like a Glasgow Clan-Fife Flyers clash at Braehead, and for the first time this season, it’s happening.

Challenge Cup points are on offer as Tom Coolen brings his team over from Kirkcaldy for what will be the third meeting of the season, with both sides winning one each.

The action will sort itself out of course, so we’ll tell you all about what you can expect on another big hockey night here.

Tickets for the game remain available so get them now from the Clan websiteFace off is at 7:00pm, with doors opening at 5:30pm.

Alternatively, if you can’t be here, purchase our webcast, bringing you all the action from the game, priced at £15 by heading over to ClanIHC.tv.

Tonight’s match sponsor are our friends from Warrior Hockey.

Coolen and the gang head over from Fife

Fife Flyers are in Glasgow for the latest Challenge Cup meeting, and there’s nothing Flyers enjoy more than trying to plunder a couple of points from Braehead Arena.

There’s never a dull moment in these fixtures and fans will take the volume up to 11 as coaches Tom Coolen and Corey Neilson go head-to-head, on the prowl for a much-needed victory for both teams.

Question is, who will take bragging rights this time around?

Adam Johnson

A year ago on Monday, Adam Johnson tragically lost his life while playing for Nottingham Panthers and this weekend, the Elite League and all ten teams within will pay tribute to him to mark the anniversary of his passing.

Fans will be invited to take part in a 47-second applause – Adam’s jersey number – as we remember him and send our thoughts to his friends, family and team-mates.

Please join us to remember Adam before the game.

Box Office Open

The Braehead Arena box office is open between 3:00pm and 8:00pm, here to accommodate game day buyers for this or future fixtures.

However, in future where possible, fans are asked to continue to purchase tickets online in advance, but any sales at the box office will be at the same price as online sales.
