GAME DAY: What’s happening at Braehead Arena THIS FRIDAY
We’re feeling the love at Braehead Arena this week in our Valentine’s Game as we welcome Guildford Flames for this Friday night affair.
The Clan are on a roll of three straight wins and have their sights on extending that as the race for the play-offs gathers pace.
But Flames will have their own designs on success in this arena so a passionate encounter is in store, but which of them will be satisfied by the end?
Tickets for the game remain available so get them now from the Clan website. Face off is at 7:30pm, with doors opening at 6:00pm.

Guildford Flames are back in this part of the world for a Friday night away, looking to take home what would be a big two points on the road.
With only one road win in their last 11, there’s no doubt Paul Dixon and his side will look to begin the weekend in the best possible way as they look to cement a top eight spot for themselves.
Eight points separate them in the Elite League table and with two games in hand, Clan have a chance to close the gap to five so expect a full-blooded night ahead.

We’ve already mentioned ScotBlood are our game sponsors tonight, but tonight’s game will be played in support of the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS).
Every blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives, and we are encouraging all Clan fans to get involved.
Tonight, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the ScotBlood table in the foyer, where you can pledge to donate blood and learn more about the incredible work SNBTS does.
Fans will also be able to scan a QR code at the table to access further information on how to donate and support the cause.
Dropping the puck tonight
We’re delighted to welcome wrestler Grado to Braehead Arena, who will drop the puck on the action tonight.
He will also be wearing a blood jersey and this will be auctioned off post game, where the winner will receive it, signed and have a photo with the man himself.
Grado will be wrestling for the Scottish Heavyweight Championship at Clan Wrestling, coming to Braehead Arena on Sunday 30th March. Get your tickets from the Braehead Arena website now.
Box Office Open
The Braehead Arena box office is open between 5:30pm and 8:00pm, here to accommodate game day buyers for this or future fixtures.
However, in future where possible, fans are asked to continue to purchase tickets online in advance, but any sales at the box office will be at the same price as online sales.
Please note, tickets for this game are very limited so try and get them as early as possible and not leave it too late.

We have updated our food and drinks policy in Braehead Arena so please take a moment to familiarise yourself with what you need to know before you arrive for tonight’s game.
Prohibited Items
Please also make sure you read over the list of items prohibited in Braehead Arena to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment of tonight’s event.
Also, please refrain from wearing football colours before you visit the arena.
Early In & Win
As stated above, the doors open at 6.00pm, but you have a chance to be a winner just by scanning your ticket if you’re in early enough.
If your ticket is scanned in as you enter the arena within 30 minutes of doors opening, you will be entered into a prize draw where you could be a winner and could leave the arena with a signed white road jersey.
Best of all, the league’s best mascot, Clangus, will deliver it to you personally during the first period.
First period break entertainment
We’re pleased to welcome Cara Paton on to the ice at the conclusion of the first period as she showcases her figure skating skills so sit back and enjoy it when it comes.
Shirt off the Back
Tonight’s Shirt off the Back is a full team Valentine’s warm-up jersey (above left), raising awareness for ScotBlood, and you could go home with one by the end of the night.
Please note, these numbers won’t be announced due to the volume of prizes so make sure you check Clan social media for the winning numbers, which will be posted during the third period.

Post Game Auction
We’ll also be holding a post-game auction where you could be the lucky owner of one of our Valentine’s themed game worn jerseys (above right).
Fans should head to blocks K and L at the conclusion of the game if they wish to participate in the auction.
The 50/50 Draw
You could go home with a big cash prize TONIGHT in our 50/50 draw and you know the rule – you have to be in it to win it.
Like Shirt off the Back, tickets are available from our sellers in the Arena at £1 each. The more you buy, the better chance you have of winning a great jackpot.
Chuck a Puck
Pick up your purple pucks from the Chuck-a-Puck table just to the right of the main entrance just passed the merchandise stall, you can pay by cash or contactless card payments.
You could be in with a chance of winning an LED Bluetooth speaker as well as a £50 merchandise voucher. Your prizes are just a throw away.

Tonight, you could win the signed stick of Clan forward #71 Rylan Schwartz in our stick raffle!

Never fear if you don’t win in any of the prize draws tonight as you could be a winner tomorrow.
So, if you’ve purchased a 50/50 ticket, a Shirt off the Back or a Stick Raffle, keep them and we’ll announce an additional number tomorrow where you could be the lucky winner of a pre-season jersey belonging to Clan forward #9, Tyson McLellan.

Clangus
Of course, it wouldn’t be a home game without the league’s best mascot and Clangus is always keen to show off his mooooooves!!
Our resident coo will be making his way around the arena, dancing to his favourite tunes and seeing as many people as he can so make sure you get your selfies and hugs in, which happen to be Clangus’ two favourite things.
Vote for Player of the Game
You can vote for your Clan man of the match using the QR Code which will be displayed on the big screens during the third period. Use your phone or mobile device to scan the code and it will take you to where you can vote.
Food and Beverages
Hot food and beverages are available in Braehead Arena, including hot dogs, nachos (including an option of chilli nachos, if you wish) and a choice of alcoholic and soft drinks.
Our Hockey Hot Box are two fantastic options – Chicken Curry and Mac & Cheese, priced at £7. Alternatively, you can have any one of our delicious Scotch pies, Steak pies, Mac & Cheese pies or why not try a new Scotch Chilli Pie, all of which are £3 each.

Accessibility
We have a number of accessible seats within the arena and also two disabled toilets in the foyer. We also have access to another disabled toilet within the shopping centre which has a hoist – please let security know if you need assistance locating these toilets.
