GAME DAY: What’s going on in Braehead Arena

The weekend starts here for Glasgow Clan, sponsored by Aspray Glasgow West and it’s the first of a double header against one of our Scottish rivals.
Jeff Mason brings his Dundee Stars to Braehead Arena for the first time on league duty in what promises to be a Friday night thriller.
After a four-point weekend last week – the first since April – Clan are going for three in a row in this St Andrews themed affair.
Tickets remain available online so make sure you get yours. Face off at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 6pm.
That’s on the ice taken care of, but what about what’s going on off the ice? Let’s tell you…
Seeing Stars
Dundee Stars haven’t had the best form recently, but two recent victories over Cardiff Devils and Fife Flyers have helped to turn those frowns upside down.
Stars won home and away in the Challenge Cup against the Clan earlier this season and after winning in each of the last four meetings, will fancy taking points again.
An interesting game awaits as both these sides look to pull themselves away from the bottom end of the table.
Box Office Open
The Braehead Arena is open between 3pm and 7.30pm and is there to accommodate game day buyers due to the cost of living crisis.
However, where possible, fans are asked to continue to purchase tickets online in advance, but any sales at the box office will be at the same price as online sales.
Figure Skating for you tonight
Tonight’s figure skater is Cameron Norrington, who is representing Magnum Figure Skating Club and West of Scotland Skating Academy.
He has trained with Rob and Kirsten Murray since his first steps on ice eight years ago and will be competing in Junior Men’s in 2023 with the goal to qualify for the British Championships next year.
Cameron has medalled at all levels across the UK with the look at taking that success into Juniors and we look forward to seeing what Cameron can do later on.
