GAME DAY: What’s going on around at Braehead Arena THIS FRIDAY

January 10, 2025

Belated Happy New Year and while 2025 may already be 10 days old, we welcome a home crowd to Braehead Arena for the first time.

It’s the first of a home double header weekend, which concludes tomorrow (Saturday), but we’ll deal with that in due course as all eyes are on the visit of Cardiff Devils for this one.

On ice action will, as always, look after itself so we’ll turn our attention to what you can expect elsewhere in the building.

Tickets for the game remain available so get them now from the Clan website. Face off is at 7:30pm, with doors opening at 6:00pm.

Alternatively, if you can’t be here, purchase our webcast, bringing you all the action from the game, priced at £15 by heading over to ClanIHC.tv.

Tonight’s game sponsor, we welcome our friends from Energy Saving Guru.

A date with the Devils

Table toppers Cardiff Devils are in the building for this latest chapter in the Elite Ice Hockey League and will be looking for maximum points this weekend before they turn their attention to Continental Cup duty next week.

Their record in Glasgow has been a good one in recent years, but saw Clan skate away with points when the teams last met at the Vindico Arena in November.

Devils have dropped points on the road on their last two trips and come up against a Clan side with eight straight wins at home.  An interesting night awaits for both camps.

Box Office Open

The Braehead Arena box office is open between 4:00pm and 8:00pm, here to accommodate game day buyers for this or future fixtures.

However, in future where possible, fans are asked to continue to purchase tickets online in advance, but any sales at the box office will be at the same price as online sales.

Please note, tickets for this game are very limited so try and get them as early as possible and not leave it too late.

Safety & Security

We’ll get the important bits of information out of the way first so please take a minute to read over the Safety and Security information for Braehead Arena, making sure you have an enjoyable night.

Make sure to have your bags ready for searching, use both entrances and be kind and courteous while we carry out our necessary checks.
