GAME DAY: Check out what’s happening at Braehead Arena THIS SATURDAY

September 28, 2024

We’re back! There’s no place like home and we’re looking forward to welcoming the Purple Army back to the Arena for our first game of the season as Cardiff Devils make the trip to Scotland for this league matchup.

Corey Neilson takes charge of the team for the first time on home ice, and after last Sunday’s Challenge Cup win in Kirkcaldy over the Fife Flyers, excitement and anticipation is high for this one.

As ever, what will be on the ice will be, but let us take you through what you can expect for the home opener.

Tickets for the game remain available, but they are limited so get them now from the Clan websiteFace off is at 7:00pm, with doors opening at 5:30pm.

Alternatively, if you can’t be here, purchase our webcast, bringing you all the action from the game, priced at £15 by heading over to ClanIHC.tv.

Cardiff first up for the Clan

Like the final game of last season, Cardiff Devils are the opponents for the first home game of the new campaign and quite the night of action is ahead.

Former Clan coach Pete Russell comes up against his GB assistant coach Corey Neilson while Cole Ully, fresh from his hat-trick against Fife, will be hoping to find the target against his old side.

Cardiff took a 3-1 win when the teams met September 14th at the Vindico Arena, but who will come out on top here?  You’ll have to wait and see.

It’s what you’ve been waiting for…

It’s also our first game with the newly installed centre ice screens, adding another layer to the best night out in town, if we say so ourselves.

Look out for all sorts of exciting things on there during the course of the night and really see the Clan experience come alive.

In memoriam

As is tradition, we’ll take a moment to reflect on Purple Army members we’ve sadly lost over the last 12 months.  Look out for this before the game as we pay tribute to the Clan fans no longer with us.

Box Office Open

The Braehead Arena box office is open between 3:00pm and 8:00pm, here to accommodate game day buyers for this or future fixtures.

However, in future where possible, fans are asked to continue to purchase tickets online in advance, but any sales at the box office will be at the same price as online sales.

Please note tickets are limited so snap your up while you still can.
