The Premier Sports sponsored Glasgow Clan were beaten on the road by the Fife Flyers thanks to a late penalty shot in an 11-goal game.
Sami Aittokallio started in net for Glasgow for the second time in three games with Lucas Brine as backup with Alex Forbes missing the action due to an injury from the night before.
Ian Scheid opened the scoring after just 85 seconds with a quick snap after an offensive zone faceoff win by Mason Alderson as the Flyers burst out the gates despite only icing three lines again.
Drew McLean saw his close-range shot saved by Aittokallio before fellow Finn, Miikhali Teppo swept the loose rebound down the ice while Brett Neumann forced a shoulder save out of Shane Owen on a first time shot at the other end.

Daniel Tedesco fed the puck out to the right wing for Chris McKay to skate onto and slam home an equaliser with a powerful drive from distance.
Brady Risk was denied by the catcher of Owen late in the period before Keaton Jameson, similar to the opening goal, won an O-zone faceoff and slid the puck to Josh Winquist who sniped a perfect finish into the Clan net to put Fife in front.
In the second period, Tedesco dropped a pass to Felix Pare in the slot who played a smart return pass to the #26 which was then directed past Owen to tie the game up once again.

Mick Messner grabbed his second goal of the weekend with a sharp wrist shot which zipped straight into the top corner from the high slot to give Glasgow their first lead.
Winquist brought the Flyers back into it quickly though with a third and equalising goal just 59 seconds after Messner which before Daniel Tedesco sniped home a timely second goal of the game in the final minute of the second period.
Messner doubled Glasgow’s lead with a second goal of his own not long into the third period before Ryan Nicholson put Fife back to within one just twenty seconds later.

Former Clan defenceman, Simon Despres scored his first of the season to tie the game up after just five minutes of third period action.
Hadden blocked a shot from Joe Hazeldine to allow himself on a breakaway but the Clan’s#73 burst back to sweep the puck away from him abut was penalised for tripping, handing the Flyers a penalty shot just before the final minute.
With 01 : 15 on the clock, Josh Winquist buried the penalty shot to seal his hattrick and a 6-5 victory over the Clan in their second meeting in two days, tying their winnings at two points each from the weekend.
