FESTIVE DOUBLE HEADER DELIVERS AS CLAN COLLECT BACK-TO-BACK WINS OVER DUNDEE
The Glasgow Clan enjoyed a successful festive period on the ice, securing two strong victories over the Dundee Stars across a Boxing Day double header and taking valuable points as the season heads toward the end of the year.
BOXING DAY – DUNDEE STARS (H) | 3–1 WIN
The festive celebrations began at Braehead Arena on Boxing Day as the Clan welcomed the Dundee Stars for the first of two meetings in as many days.
Captain Deven Sideroff opened the scoring to give the Clan an early boost, before Steven Seigo doubled the advantage with a powerplay goal. New signing Brady Risk added the third, netting his first home goal since joining the Clan in mid-December.
It was also a milestone night for Daniel Tedesco, with the Italian-Canadian forward recording his first point in Purple, providing the assist on Seigo’s powerplay marker in his home debut.
SATURDAY 27 DECEMBER – DUNDEE STARS (A) |1-4 WIN
The Clan completed the festive double header the following night with another impressive performance at the Dundee Ice Arena.
Tristin Langan opened the scoring, assisted by Daniel Tedesco, who continued his strong start in Purple. Tedesco then got himself on the scoresheet early in the second period, finishing a play set up by Langan to extend the Clan’s lead.
Defenceman Jason Fram added another in the second period before Robert Lachowicz sealed the victory with an empty-net goal in the final minute.
FESTIVE FORM & WHAT’S NEXT
From a possible 12 points available across the festive schedule, the Clan have secured 8 points, putting together two four-point weekends and building valuable momentum heading into the final games of 2025.
The Clan now face the ultimate test with a trip to the SSE Arena to take on the Belfast Giants, before returning home for a Hogmanay showdown at Braehead Arena on Wednesday 31 December, with a 2:00pm face-off.
With confidence growing and contributions coming throughout the lineup, the Clan will look to carry their festive form into the final stretch of the year.
