EVENT: Round Up The Rink Comes To Town

Get ready, Purple Army – we’re bringing a country twist to Braehead Arena this March with Round Up The Rink. For the 2024/25 season, we’re shaking things up and trading in our usual Rock The Rink and Rave The Rink themes for a weekend dedicated to all things country.

Taking place over the weekend of 15th and 16th March 2025, this double-header event will celebrate the country music loved by hockey players and fans alike, complete with a specially curated warm-up playlist and a range of country classics played throughout the night. And, of course, the highlight of the weekend – the Glasgow Clan team will don exclusive limited edition jerseys.

SATURDAY 15TH MARCH – PURPLE NIGHT

The Coventry Blaze roll into town for a 7:00pm face-off, and the Clan will hit the ice in style:

• Warm-Up Jersey: A purple-sleeved cow print waistcoat design – available to win through our Full Team Shirt Off The Back raffle. Fans can enter for just £1 in the foyer.
• Game Jersey: A special edition jersey featuring a large sheriff’s badge, black fringe details, and a horse and cactus pattern along the bottom. These game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off post-game in Blocks K&L, with bidding starting at £60.

SUNDAY 16TH MARCH – BLACK NIGHT

While there won’t be a special game jersey as the Clan take on the Belfast Giants on Sunday (face-off 5pm), the Clan will still be donning a second warm-up look:

• Warm-Up Jersey: Featuring the same cow print waistcoat design but with black sleeves – again, available to win through our Full Team Shirt Off The Back raffle.
• After the game, fans will have the chance to hit the ice with their favourite players in the post-game Skate with the Clan (ticket information will be available in due course).

HOW TO GET YOUR HANDS ON A REPLICA GAME JERSEY

If you want to own a piece of Round Up The Rink, replica game jerseys are available to order now through the Clan Online Shop. Fans must place their orders by 3:00pm on Wednesday 26th February to ensure arrival in time for the big weekend!

So, dust off your cowboy hats, round up your friends, and join us for a weekend of fast-paced hockey with a country twist.
