COMMUNITY: Brooks & Peacock visit Balornock Primary

Clan in the Community visited Balornock Primary School in Glasgow on Thursday, where Brendan Brooks and Craig Peacock welcomed pupils from class P3, P4, P6, P7a and P7b to the Purple Army.

Brendan and Craig met Ms McMillan and the P3/4 pupils, alongside Ms Wylie’s P4 class, with approximately 23 children in each class, all of whom were eager to learn about our superb sport.

Brendan and Craig then moved to a classroom of primary 7 pupils, made up of Ms Walker’s and Mrs Stuart’s classes. The children enjoyed our video presentation learning of the benefits of living clean, strong and smart.

The final part of the visit to Balornock Primary was with Ms Chesney’s primary 6 pupils, who were all very keen to learn of the types of injuries that can occur through playing Ice Hockey at a professional level.

Clan’s Brendan Brooks enjoyed the visit to Balornock Primary: “Myself and Craig loved going out to Balornock and meeting everyone. There were some great questions, and a lot of interest in the Clan. We’re looking forward to welcoming them into the Purple Army.”
