Clan Collect Two Points in a Demanding Week of Action

February 2, 2026

The Glasgow Clan faced a tough schedule last week, playing three games in five days, producing highs and lows as they continued their push in the Elite League.

Sunday 25 January – Dundee Stars (A) | 6–1 WIN

The Clan opened the week on the road with a commanding performance at the Dundee Ice Arena. Alex Forbes, Captain Deven Sideroff, Joe Hazeldine, Brady Risk, Tristin Langan and Robert Lachowicz all found the net as the Clan cruised to a 6–1 win, taking valuable points and building confidence heading into the week.

Wednesday 28 January – Nottingham Panthers (H) | 4–1 WIN

Back at Braehead Arena, the Clan secured a second victory in just three days with goals from Tristin Langan, Jason Fram, Joe Hazeldine and Daniel Tedesco. Goaltender Liam Souliere impressed on his home debut, posting a 95.24% save percentage to help the Clan see out a 4–1 win.

Friday 30 January – Guildford Flames (H) | 2–4 LOSS

The Clan returned to Braehead later in the week to face their long-time rivals, the Guildford Flames. Despite goals from Robert Lachowicz and Rylan Schwartz, the Flames edged the contest 4–2, continuing their reputation as a tough opponent for the Clan.

Sunday 1 February – Belfast Giants (A) | 0–5 LOSS

The weekend ended on a difficult note as the Clan travelled to Belfast. Facing the league leaders and dealing with the departure of Head Coach Corey Neilson, the Clan were unable to break through and fell 5–0, highlighting the challenges of a demanding schedule.

Coming Up

With just 2 points from 6 across the week, the Clan know the coming fixtures are crucial if they want to secure 5th place for playoff seeding.

Friday 6 February – Nottingham Panthers (H) | 7:30pm – Back at Braehead, the Clan will look to emulate the grit and determination shown in their previous meeting.

Saturday 7 February – Dundee Stars (A) – The team travels north for the first of two encounters this month with the Stars, aiming to continue their winning momentum on the road.

Despite mixed results, the Clan showed fight and resilience — traits that will be vital as they look to turn lessons into points in the weeks ahead.
