Braehead Arena to Go Cashless from September 2025
Glasgow Clan can confirm that Braehead Arena will become a fully cashless venue from September 2025.
The move is being introduced to streamline and improve the game night experience for fans. Over the closing months of the 2024/25 season, the venue recorded a significant decline in cash transactions, with the majority of supporters already opting to pay by card or mobile payment.
By going cashless, Braehead Arena will speed up service times at bars, concessions, and merchandise stands, ensuring supporters can spend less time in queues and more time enjoying the action on the ice.
This update also brings Braehead Arena in line with many other sports and entertainment venues across the UK who have already made the move to cashless operations.
Fans are encouraged to prepare for the change ahead of the 2025/26 season, where debit/credit card and contactless payments (including mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay) will be accepted throughout the arena.
We’d like to thank all supporters for their continued backing and look forward to welcoming you to a faster, more efficient game night experience at Braehead Arena.
