AUCTION: Clan Celebrate Another Successful Pride Night
The Glasgow Clan marked another fantastic Pride Night with a commanding 9-4 victory over the Fife Flyers in their 2024/25 Elite Ice Hockey League matchup. The night was not only a triumph on the ice but also a significant celebration of inclusivity and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
In addition to the on-ice action, the Clan proudly sold a range of Pride-themed merchandise, including hats, scarves, pin badges, and mugs, allowing fans to show their support in style.
As part of the festivities, the team took to the ice for warm-ups in specially designed Pride warm-up jerseys, which were later won by lucky members of the Purple Army through the club’s Full-Team Shirt Off The Back draw. Fans could enter for just £1 per ticket, making it an exciting opportunity to own a unique piece of the night. Find out if you were a winner HERE.
The post-game celebrations continued with a special edition Pride jersey auction, where fans bid for game-worn jerseys from their favourite players. Thanks to the generosity of the Purple Army, the auction raised over £6,000 for T.I.E (Time for Inclusive Education), an LGBTQ+ charity dedicated to ensuring inclusive education for young people.
