Women’s Ice Hockey Takes Centre Stage at Braehead Arena
Braehead Arena will host a special celebration of women’s ice hockey next month as the Home Nations Elite Rivalry (HER) 3v3 Hockey Tournament comes to Glasgow on Friday 6 March 2026.
Taking place ahead of the Glasgow Clan’s EIHL clash with the Guildford Flames, the event will showcase top female talent from across the home nations in a fast-paced, four nations–style 3-on-3 format designed to highlight the speed, skill and intensity of the women’s game.
The tournament forms part of International Women’s Day celebrations, shining a spotlight on athletes who continue to break barriers and inspire the next generation of players.
Fans attending the Clan game are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the action, with arena doors opening at 4:30pm and the first HER tournament game starting at 4:45pm.
The event is proudly sponsored by Warrior UK, whose support helps provide a platform to grow visibility and opportunities within women’s ice hockey.
With high-energy competition and elite-level talent on display, the HER 3v3 Tournament promises to be an exciting curtain-raiser and a fitting celebration of the women shaping the future of the sport.
Tickets for Clan v Flames must be purchased in order to attend the 3v3 Tournament.
