Injury Update | Clan Set for Boost as January Continues

January 16, 2026

The Glasgow Clan can provide an update on the current injury situation as the team prepares for a busy run of fixtures.

There is positive news heading into tonight’s game against the Manchester Storm, with Brett Neumann, Brayden Burke, and Chris McKay all set to return to the lineup. Neumann and Burke have missed several games during January, while McKay is back in contention after an extended spell out since 2 November, marking a significant boost for the roster.

Cade Neilson continues to make good progress in his recovery following an issue sustained at the end of December. His rehabilitation remains on track, and the club is hopeful he could return to game action within the next two to three weeks, subject to continued progress.

In goal, Sami Aittokallio is currently undergoing rehabilitation after being sidelined earlier this month. There is no confirmed timeline for his return at this stage, and further updates will be provided when available. New Canadian netminder Liam Soulière will be travelling with the team for this weekend’s road games.

Lacho will not feature this weekend as a precautionary measure, with the aim of having him available for the next home game.

Meanwhile, Kielb is managing an ongoing issue but is expected to be available for tonight’s game in Manchester, with the hope that he will also be able to feature in the upcoming fixture against Coventry.

As the Clan move through January, the return of key players and continued recovery of others is providing encouragement within the camp, with the team focused on building momentum and consistency as the second half of the season unfolds.
